Jurisdiction Overview

The Grenada

Grenada Coat of Arms

Commonwealth of Grenada, a sovereign nation offering one of the Caribbean's most established citizenship-by-investment programmes.

The only Caribbean programme offering a direct pathway to US residency via the E-2 Investor Visa Treaty.

Grenada's CBI programme launched in 2013 and has rapidly established itself as the most strategically valuable programme in the Caribbean for families with US ambitions or meaningful Asian commercial interests.

Grenada is the only Caribbean CBI programme whose citizens are eligible to apply for the US E-2 Investor Visa, a non-immigrant visa allowing residency in the United States on the basis of substantial investment. It is also the only Caribbean CBI passport with visa-free access to mainland China. These two features, in combination, make Grenada structurally unique in the market.

Grenada is a tri-island state in the southern Caribbean, Grenada itself, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. The programme is administered by the Citizenship by Investment Committee (CBIC), operating under the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Act. Its due diligence framework is among the most comprehensive in the region, with strong links to US, Canadian, and UK intelligence-sharing partners.

Investment Routes

Two Pathways

Applicants choose between two qualifying investment routes. Each has distinct cash-flow, capital-preservation, and asset-diversification implications.
